impact report: tech impact day 2020

As the world - for better or worse - becomes more adept at connecting remotely, Impact Day is no exception. After delivering our third annual Tech Impact Day (and sixth Impact Day total), we continue to be utterly impressed by our pro bono volunteers and truly inspired by our nonprofit clients. The amount of time, effort, and pride the pro bono volunteers put into their project work was incredibly energizing. It’s especially heart-warming to see a few of these techies return year after year to volunteer.

pro bono value delivered at tech impact day:

$44,460

I found the entire Tech Impact Day experience to be so rewarding. I’ve been doing web development for a long time, and over the years, I’ve gotten cynical about the actual value my skills can provide. Through Tech Impact Day, hearing the passionate expressions of how transformative a few hours of our time were to their missions was like getting a million hugs at once. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to provide pro bono work and I’m excited for next year!

This is my third year participating in Tech Impact Day and, even though I work in the social good tech sector, there is something about Impact Day keeps me inspired and coming back. Please offer more Impact Days!
