  • 2/8: nONPROFIT AND VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS OPEN

  • 2/26: Nonprofit applications due

  • 3/12: VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS DUE

  • 2/15-3/5: NONPROFITS ATTEND REQUIRED ASSESSMENT CALL

  • 3/8-3/19: VOLUNTEERS RAISE THEIR HAND FOR A NONPROFIT PROJECT

  • 3/22-3/26: TEAMS OF VOLUNTEERS ARE FINALIZED BASED ON COMPLEMENTARY SKILLSETS WITH EACH OTHER AND AN IDEAL EXPERTISE MATCH TO THE NONPROFIT CHALLENGE

  • 4/1: PRO BONO TRAINING – VOLUNTEERS AND NONPROFITS GO THROUGH A 30 MINUTE TRAINING TO BE PREPARED FOR IMPACT DAY (IT WILL BE RECORDED FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND)

  • 4/2: TEAMS ARE INTRODUCED & CONNECT ON REQUIRED SCOPING CALL TO FURTHER FLESH OUT SCOPE OF WORK FOR IMPACT DAY

  • 4/16: ALL TEAMS COME TOGETHER TO PARTICIPATE IN VIRTUAL IMPACT DAY!

 

NONPROFIT DETAILS

WHO CAN ATTEND:

Nonprofits that have a challenge or opportunity in strategy and is looking for strategic experts to help support as a thought-partner, an adviser, a trouble-shooter, or an implementer can apply to attend Strategy Impact Day. You will leave the day with a clear set of next steps, whether that’s a set of recommendations or a concrete deliverable. Impact Day is free to attend. We recommend 1-3 participants from your organization, including the Executive Director. For strategy discussions, it might be prudent to include a board member as well.

Common projects that can be accomplished in this time frame:

  • Business planning

  • Collaborator Analysis and Recommendations

  • Mission, Vision, Values

  • Internal Capacity Assessment

  • Initial Market Analysis & Research

  • Operations Process Design

  • Pricing Analysis and Strategies

  • Program Measurement Recommendations

  • Strategic Planning Preparation

  • SWOT Analysis

  • Theory of Change/Logic Modeling

VOLUNTEER DETAILS

Who can attend:

Any strategic professional who is interested in using their skills to help support a nonprofit can apply to be a pro bono volunteer at Strategy Impact Day. Your participation will depend on the nonprofit participants’ needs so it’s imperative to apply and list your skillsets in the application. Your participation will be confirmed only if you are matched with a nonprofit who is in need of your expertise.

Common expertise needed includes:

  • Business Analysis

  • Business Strategy

  • Business Development & Sales

  • Competitive Analysis

  • Financial Planning & Modeling

  • Logic Modeling

  • Market Research

  • Metric or KPI Development
